Guidelines for Submission

Eligibility Requirements

Youth under the age of 19 are eligible to enter. Entries must have been completed before the artist's 20th birthday. If a member of a production team is older than 19, that person's contribution cannot be the driving force of the video. Work done under the guidance of an adult is eligible as long as the youth producers control the production content.

Technical Requirements

Projects may be submitted in the following formats in SP mode:

• S-VHS
• VHS
• Mini DV
• DVD

In the event that your project is selected, we ask that you send us the highest quality version in the Mini DV format with 10 seconds of black at the start and end.

Other Guidelines and Restrictions

• Submissions should not be longer than 20 minutes.
• Please put each entry on a seperate video cassette, disc, or tape. (Because of the committee system, seperate committees are screening simultaneously, so having each entry on a seperate tape helps.)
• Please limit organizational entries to a total of 5. If you send more, please indicate the 5 pieces you would most like watched. The others will be pre-screened if time permits.
